Dusty Trice is a New Media Professional with 14 years of political experience, most recently as a senior staffer on Sen. Al Franken’s campaign and as a Social and New Media Campaign Consultant. He has a strong political instinct with experience in using social networks and other New Media platforms to effectively convey campaign messaging.

As the producer of a political video blog his content was regularly featured on MSNBC, Huffington Post, TPM, Wonkette and numerous other national outlets. He was recently named #1 in the Twin Cities ‘Titans of Social Media’ and is on the Washington Post’s list of top state political bloggers.

Dusty was born in Alabama and raised in North Dakota. He’s been a political operative for over half his life having worked for Sen. Al Franken, Rep. Earl Pomeroy, The Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the Minnesota DFL Party. His political New Media clients include Congressional and statewide campaigns, non-profits and political advocacy organizations. At one point he even worked for a few republican candidates!

Outside of politics, Dusty was on air at North Dakota Public Radio KCND / KDSU and AM950 KTNF in the Twin Cities. He also freelances as a graphic designer, PR consultant and New Media trainer.

Dusty currently lives in Saint Paul, MN with his pit bull, Zoey.
